Gisele > Denmark & Sweden

Hello!
I love your blog and I would like to share 3 of my beloved places.
1. I love strolling at the zoo in Copenhagen, Denmark on a sunny afternoon ( my favorite animals are the zebras and the elephants) :)
2. The parks in my current hometown Helsingborg, Sweden, with fairytalelike forests and dragonflies made of iron.
3. The beach in Helsingborg, Sweden. I love going there even on a stormy wintersday.

Lluviaschick > Sweden & Denmark
I´m Lluviaschick from Playground&imperfection. One year ago you asked me if I wanted to collaborate with your blog sending a picture of my lovely place (Prague).
Right now, after a brief blogging crisis I´m renewing my blog doing things that I have done before... so I was wonderign if you want to publish my new lovely place: Sweden & Denmark.
It was the trip that I have enjoyed the most this year.

I have two favourite places on earth:
(1) The Burren, Co. Clare
I visited the Burren in Co. Clare as a child and always return there when I'm at home in Ireland. The famous Cliffs of Moher are near this spot, but it's the Poulnabrone Dolmen that I love to visit the most. It's an ancient portal tomb, dating back to the Neolithic period, probably between 4200 BC to 2900 BC. At either sunrise or sunset it's a magical place, especially when shrouded in mist.
(2) Castle Mountain, Banff National Park, Alberta
I studied in Alberta for 2 years and fell madly in love with this mountain. As its name suggests it is very "castle-like" but it's also a very atmospheric place. I had never lived close to a mountain range as epic as the Rockies and was overwhelmed by their vast grandeur.

Sarah > Yellowstone
I discovered my most lovely place during a visit to Yellowstone National Park.
The place is simply breathtaking.
Pictures :
Old Faithful
A herd of buffalo in the distance
Thermophilic bacteria living in a hot spring
Rapids on the Yellowstone River. The roar of the water was so incredible that I could have sat there all day.
Cattails near our campsite
The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone
thanks for hosting such a great blog

Noorie > Aruba
One of my favorite places on earth is Aruba, which is where I have grown up. The sun is usually always shining and the beaches are to die for.
These pictures where taken just before I left for vacation last month, when I went sight seeing with Marlon. We went cruising around the whole island and even though it's pretty small, had a blast and managed to discover a few new places. Good food, drinks, beaches, and getting a tan: what more can you ask for.
I love going to the parts of the island where the sea is rough. You can smell the ocean and see waves crashing.
The last picture, which looks like a bunch of rubble, is actually what's left of the "Natural Bridge". A few years back it finally collapsed.
And I added another picture of when we went into the Indian caves. My first time seeing them actually...

The first three were taken in Destin, FL where I spent my most memorable spring break with my best friends.
It's true, Destin truly has the most beautiful beaches in all of Florida!
The fourth was taken in Buchanan, MI where I grew up. I have a strange connection with this field. It is infinitely more beautiful than this picture shows, but I'm afraid my poor photagraphy skills are showing...
And finally.... the fifth was taken in Pemaquid Point, ME. I've only visited once, but I hope to go back someday; it was insanely beautiful. This was my first trip to Maine, and the beaches were unlike anything I'd ever seen before.

Lauren > Richerenches

I've attached an image of Richerenches, a village I had the pleasure of visiting when I was in France.
Of all the places I've been to, this is the most picturesque destination, and I always dream of returning.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find very many pictures of the town; this one was the best I could find. It doesn't depict half of Richerenches' charm, I'm afraid.

Didier > Winonalake, USA

My favorite place for the moment is Winonalake in Indiana, USA.
A very quiet, peacefuly and pretty town, near a lake, with a lot of trees.
Beautiful sun in summer, wonderul snow in winter and very kind people everytime.
The first drawing is a very confortable coffee house, with sofa, rockin'chairs, fireplace.
And the second is a view with snow... For see more of my trip sketches, look my blog :

Dottie > the cliffs of Møn Klint, Møn, Denmark
I visited the Møn cliffs on a perfect autumn day in 2005, and they remain among the most beautiful sights I'd experienced to date. At the bottom of the cliffs, one feels tiny and in awe. At the top, the great expanse of the Baltic Sea spreads out on all sides and it strikes you that the world really is round.

Annie > Stonehenge
